How to Make Flavored Peanut Butter

The Secret to Creating Flavored Peanut Butter:

Flavored peanut butter seems to be the newest trend in recent years. You'll see many variations of flavored peanut butter on the shelves at the supermarket. Some of the more popular flavors are raspberry, cocoa, and cinnamon raisin.

While these DO sound appetizing, you still must consider all the added hydrogenated oils, artificial flavorings and preservatives that are in the mix. If you want to stay healthy, you need to have 100% naturally-flavored peanut butter.

And since you won’t find it available in most stores, AND it makes for a fun kitchen activity for the kids, you might as well make it yourself.

Making your own flavored peanut butter will let you experiment with a variety of different flavors. You'll need a blender or food processor for mixing your ingredients.

You can use any type of nuts for your butter, such as peanuts or almonds, but use fresh ROASTED nuts to ensure that it is completely healthy.

Flavors

Sweet, Spicy, Tropical or Jamaican Jerk Peanut Butter --

If you want a unique-tasting peanut butter with a rich taste, take 1.25 cups of any or our flavored peanuts (http://bit.ly/2oN4ddz) and blend them on high in your food processor for at least 3 minutes.

You may hear a lot of noises in the beginning because the machine is chopping up the nutty pieces. If any pieces get stuck along the walls of the blending bowl, just stop the blending and push down the pieces into the bowl. Then continue blending until everything looks like a grainy butter.

Chocolate

Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread – You can create the taste of a peanut butter cup by using 1.25 cups of our ready made (dairy-free) chocolate-coated peanuts.

Blend until it is all buttery.

Between making the peanut butter and cleaning up the area afterward, it should take you under 10 minutes to finish.
